The Young Numismatists’ Conference was first arranged in 2018 by the Department of Auxiliary Studies of History of Eötvös Loránd University. In 2019, it was organised by Jósa András Museum of Nyíregyháza and in 2021, by the Eötvös Loránd University again. This year, the 4th Young Numismatics’ Conference is going to take place in the Petőfi Literary Museum – Kazinczy Ferenc Museum of Sátoraljaújhely on 17/18 November 2022.
The aim of the Conference is to provide early-career numismatists with the opportunity for debut. Anyone is welcome to present a paper who is an academic in the field of Numismatics, has completed BA or 6 semesters of teacher training course and is under the age of 40 till the date of the Conference.
To apply, one has to fill in the application form and send it in together with the abstract of the paper. A scientific committee decides on the acceptance of the applications.
Language of the Conference: Abstracts and slides in English, presentation in any language.
